The Mansion was designed and built in 1919, by a leading Hungarian architect-Ladislaus Edward Hudec for Sir Robert Ho, a successful businessman from Hong Kong . Sir Ho & his family lived in the building until 1949. Much of the architecture including the design and building characteristics are typically neoclassical. The 4.2 meters high ceiling and old European style fireplace gives The Mansion character and elegance.
